God LOVES homosexuals, he just doesn't like what they do.
Homosexuality is defined by attraction, not by action. I'm a homosexual (bisexual to be specific) and I've never acted out on my sexuality (yet). You don't have to do anything to be a homosexual, you just are.

Evanescence and Flyleaf both are/were Christian bands. (I think Flyleaf is still considered Christian while Evanescence isn't, but I could be wrong.)

Yes, I was going to ask about this too. It'd be nice to include all of the variables, please. sweatdrop I happen to be a straight person who supports gay people.

I felt a vibe from Evanescence that they might be Christian (or at least the songwriter), but on the other hand I think there are songs about suicide as well; do correct me if I'm wrong.

That list of unsafe bands is ridiculous. There is a lot of classic music there that has long been accepted and cherished in our nation's culture. To deny kids of that experience is wrong, imho. I don't think music has much of anything to do with changing religions. I was still a very moral and spiritual young girl in the Lord when I was listening to Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne (clean)... I was listening to secular kid's radio stations, with all the same underlying messages. And I was just as Christian. (I do have to admit that my introduction to Green Day, which opened the door to punk and rock, may have contributed a little...) This website is just as ridiculous as Lambuel.

Well.... Maybe not quite as ridiculous. o_0

"Wickedness is a myth invented by good people...

Rabies-infested homophobic Christian groups suck. I totally agree.

I was also scrolling down that large list of bands/artists...

Elton John, yeah, whatever, open gay person, but...

Ravi Shankar... Am I missing something? The only thing I can think of why they would be afraid of them is because he taught one of the Rolling Stones how to use the sitar. So they blame him for teaching the band how to use an extra instrument? What?

to account for the curious attractiveness of others." - Oscar Wilde

We know that it can be difficult to differentiate what is good or bad for your child. With that in mind Love God's Way has created this powerful tool to let you see some bands and entertainment that is safe for your children.

lolwut?

Amanda is a nutjob. She's written a song about a d***o and one about a sex change operation. Not to mention a hoard of other nsfc songs.

Joke?

(I lol'd at clay aiken in the first list)

Well, they also listed Cyndi Lauper. Despite the fact she headlines the True Colors Tour.

So either it's a parody of some kind, or these guys are obviously not paying any attention at all.
And having just checked the website myself... parody. (I means srlsy, Oscar Wilde - reformed homosexual?) In fact, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was the same guy who did marryourdaughter.com

Evanescence faked it for the sake of the label. Or so I've heard.
Britney spears did that for publicity shes not gay.

I'm surprised The Beatles aren't on that list. What, with John's "We're more popular than Jesus Christ" and their manager, Brian Epstein, being Gay.

Folks, if you haven't realized it by now, that is a parody site.

If you don't believe me, watch the music video and listen to the lyrics carefully, and try to catch the subtext.
