Welcome to Gaia! ::

While wasting my life sitting on the computer I realised how amazingly dull God must have been.I mean,Green grass, wow.You think he would have had the thought to pick a different color grass than green, Like purple or something.

Another thing,The universe is made of billions and billions of stars, planets and a few black holes thrown in too,But they all look the same."Oh my! a white dwarf,Oh look! a yellow star!"This would go on forever considering how many trillion lightyears the universe goes on for.

He also designed humans very badly.Apparently, everything in our body has some type or purpose, How amazingly dull. Why couldn't he have given us an extra arm/leg/head just for the hell of it?I don't see any reason why it would hurt us,and it certinly would look cool.

Is the entire universe covered in pin points of colors or did God just decorate the first 100 light years?

(I'm an Athiest if your wondering)
This is a joke, right?

That just set off my gayometer
Perhaps God isn't into the whole abstract art thing. neutral
well if it was purple, you'd wish it was red or green simply cuz you're so used to it being purple

I think this is a Chatterbox thread... agree/disagree?
Not that I believe in god, but if there was no grass, then why NOT make it green? There was no set color, according to those who believe in god, so making it "green" would be as dull as making it "purple" because he supposedly made it up.

There's a little something called "Photosynthesis", my freind.
And people question the basis for my cynacism...
Not chatterbox, maybe GD.

I guess you'd want it to change no matter what color it was considering you'd get used to it.Some Vogons are people conplaining that their orange grass is dull.
Had grass always been neon orange, you'd be used to it. Then green would be an extremely abnormal color.

The stars and planets that look small do so because they're far away. It's perspective, and if you mess that up, everyday life would be confusing as hell. You'd have no clue how far away things were, or how big they were.

Disagree. It's a valid question. He gave his stance, a question, and asked for discussion. You can't report threads because you don't like the question.

If grass were purple, you'd be bitching because purple was a boring color for grass. Why? Because you'd be used to it.

How the hell do you know that all stars look the same? Have you ever seen a star less than several lightyears away besides the sun? Didn't think so.

If you're really an athiest, you wouldn't have posted this, because your whole post is based on the belief in a God, yet you claim not to. And don't say that you're writing this from a different perspective, because your post even says "God must have been" which says that you believe that a god did once exist.

And do you really think God created the Universe to appeal to you specifically?
Guess what? Purple grass would only be unusual because we have green grass now. If it had been purple to start with, green would be an unusual colour for it.

Furthermore, function > form, and I wouldn't want a ******** arm sticking out of my face anyway. How is that aesthetic?
