Beck is the conservatives' answer to Keith Olbermann. They're two different sides of the same coin, both being so blindly loyal to their respective "sides" that it's downright ridiculous.

Olbermann ftw.

I thought he should have stuck with SportsCenter to be honest.

I've never seen him cry on air, though.

True. But I've seen him whine plenty of times. Just saying...fair is fair. Both sides have trolls.

It would be more entertaining if he did cry or if he was totally apeshit. That's all. At this point, it's just entertaining in that Olbermann's pretty funny and interesting.
Olbermann's pretty bad, but he's nowhere near Beck's level. The fact that Olbermann can take Beck to task without even trying is pretty telling.
Last week's South Park pretty much sums up what I feel about Becky-boy and the rest of these clowns.

One day I want to prank call him. I want to be really S-face when I do it too.

Beck, like any other person on televesion whould be taken with a grain of salt. Some of the things he says are outlandish, and many I flat out don't agree with, but he covers a lot of topics other shows won't, and has on more than one occasion been the first to report a newsbreaking story.

Personally I like him, though I do feel he can be overdramatic and sometimes simply incorrect. Though, I think the same can be said for others in media who recieve far less crap for it than Glenn.

Beck is judged not for being 100% wrong but rather for being judgmental and hypocritical. He shouldn't be taken with a grain of salt, rather a whole block. He's not a journalist, he's an entertainer.

Jon Stewart is the most watched and respected news reporter and he admits he's a comedian.

+ he's on Comedy Central, not a "News network" that claims to be "Fair and balanced"

That's the point, the most trusted newscaster in the U.S. is a comedian.

That is like pointing out that over 50 percent of Americans don't believe in evolution.

Would you mind explaining how this is information is pertinent?
And what do you find this may mean?

I wouldn't quite call him a troll. A zealot perhaps, but not a troll.
