Also, a p***s isn't a ticket into the military (even if you want to be in the "men's division" or whatever). There are men in this world without a p***s, who have lost it somehow. Also, intersex people are allowed in the military, and are usually just placed where their legal sex is. Don't see how a transsexual would be much different.

And I wouldn't necessarily feel bad about joining the woman's division because of my vag, but there's no way the women there would be comfortable with it. I look like a man head to toe except for what's between my legs. I'd fit in with the men much better, since we'll have clothes on like 95% of the time.

If you have to shower with a bunch of dudes, like boot camp, it would be kind of hard not to. Also, all bases are different. Some have individual shower stalls, and some don't.

I already explained bases. They're not how they are in the movies, lulz. I know several people in the military, including my cousin. He shares a bathroom with a few mates. They don't shower together.

Depending on their specialty and test scores, a person doesn't always or even usually get to pick what base they end up in. And in boot camp, as I said before, the lads still sleep in a big ol' line and shower in a big ol' YMCA style shower... thing.

In response to the transexual in the military thing I have known an odd number of MtF transexuals who did join the military. It seemed that in an effort to try and stop feeling like a woman and to hide what they are some have enlisted in the military as a way to do something macho and male.

I don't know, under the past administration and the Bush war I was planning on avoiding the draft with the sex change. O course, if I could have done the Klinger thing perhaps that would not have been too bad. Of course, if the US were to pay for a sex change if I served a term or two I might have actually considered it. Could you imagine how terrifying that would be to a bunch of muslim extremists to see a bunch of gays and drag queens with guns and tanks ready to kill them for killing gay people due to religious reasons. The fairy brigade is coming, and they look pissed, and quite fashionable.

I'm white and straight (as far as I know) how come I don't get any special benefits? You guys are always saying 'we wanna be equal!' but that's not actually true, you want special treatment. You wanna be able to complain if someone is mean to you, or doesn't agree with your lifestyle choice or amount of melanin. Being able to get married like everyone else, is equal so awesome (thumbs up.) Suing some for not liking because you're black/gay/whatever isn't. That's not equality, that's taking advantage of your own minority to force the majority to give into you.
