That is absolutely the most ridiculous statement you have ever made. You pretty much put your foot in your mouth here, Soleil, and I'm gonna ride that to the frickin MOON. A normal weighted person is going to be healthier than a overweight person based solely on weight? Load of bull, and here's why: YOU CANNOT BASE OVERALL HEALTH ON ONE FACTOR. Health is a culmination of ALL of those factors that you have listed there. You CANNOT ignore those factors when you are determining who is healthy and who is not. THEY ARE ALL INTERCONNECTED. One cannot go without the other. To ignore those factors combined pretty much ignores the well being of the person overall. Whole >>>>> sum of its parts when it comes to the human body. Lrn2biology and lrn2definiton on health.

Clean the fat out of your eyes. It's impeding your ability to understand what I'm saying. Either that or you're just obstinately refusing to accept something that's a proven fact because it makes you feel insecure about being fat. This isn't your personal pity party. This is health. Excess adiposity is not good for you. Period. Go ahead, point to your one study that says fat people got healthier anyway even though they didn't lose weight. NO s**t. Living healthier is going to make you healthier, but living healthier and losing weight is going to make you even healthier, because excess body fat is not. ********. good. for. you.

Again, as it said in the link, the key was healthier living, and not necessarily weight loss. Weight loss was just something that may or may not have happened in addition to said healthier living. Those obese folks lowered their risk without the weight loss on that study. So it goes to show that being fat =/= death toll. It shows that healthy living = healthier life.

I should also point out that mortality and morbidity are two different things, and a lot of the health consequences of excess adiposity deal with morbidity, not just mortality.

Excess adiposity is not a non-factor in health no matter how you attempt to slice it, so stop trying to spread your pro-fat, pandering bullshit just because you can't figure out how to lose weight so you somehow have to make being fat a good thing to boost your own pitiful self-esteem.

Did you even READ what the ******** I said? Of course you didn't. All you saw was "Fatty talking and not losing weight. BAD FATTY BAD!" I said that health is a CULMINATION OF FACTORS, including genetics, environment, lifestyle, etc etc etc. If I am unhealthy, and went and got lipo and got all that fat taken out of me, but didn't live a healthy lifestyle, I wouldn't be healthier would I? NO, because I didn't make any change to the lifestyle that made me unhealthy.

He blatantly said that being fat, and nothing else makes you die quicker. I call BULLSHIT on that because if I'm fat and living an active lifestyle and eating right, I'll live longer than a normal weighted person who eats nothing but artery clogging foods and the only sport they play is Madden 2010 on their Xbox. Why? Because my lifestyle is BETTER than that person. Whole >>>> sum of the parts. PERIOD. You even say so in your post. And I'm not saying that excess adiposity ISN'T a factor, but it ain't the ONLY factor.

Ah yes multi-vitamins are a wonderful idea, but didn't you know? It takes more energy to chew fresh carrots and celery than you get out of eating it, even before the energy expended for digestion! It's an exercise, and it makes her believe she's eating something. The perfect combination.

In fact, I'm going to make that thread right now! Give me a few minutes to type up a reasonable ED standard OP, and we'll be able to help fatass like her all over the internet. biggrin

Honey I even have research to prove it. Say thanks to Kaosgirl, because here link had the one I'm talking about in it. Want to see? They removed 20% of total body mass from fat in their stomaches and NOTHING, not blood pressure, not insulin resistance, not hyperlipidemia, not a single actual factor of health, was better. It didn't matter that the fat wasn't there, MONTHS after it was taken and wasn't replaced. They still were no healthier. The truth of the matter is, the fat wasn't making them sick.

Either the sickness was making them FAT, OR the fat like their other sicknesses, was just a symptom of them not living a healthy life. You heard it right, sucking out the fat didn't make it better, because it was only a symptom and never an actual genesis of a problem or even a problem to begin with.

Oh yeah. I can't wait. Let's make sure to give out good advice on how to starve lose fat healthily.... 3nodding
I have large stretch marks on my thighs from 'growing into a women' as my mother used to put it. Pretty much, it means my legs got longer and my lower body filled out. I've tried a few different kinds of lotions and suck that claimed to get rid of them, but they aren't that big of a deal to me. I just wear guys shorts or some sort of short-shorts when I go swimming. But, I would imagin having them places where they weren't so easy covered (stomach, arms, neck, ect.), it might be worth it to get them removed.
It always freaks me out how obsessive people are about weight. As long as you're not morbidly obese, so what. Same thing goes for being old.
