That is a general class name and nothing more. It is only foolish to do so when one prescribes one of the specific views to a given sect or branch of that wide class to the mass, no less egregious than claiming that, because penguins cant fly, no bird can fly.

I dont think any religion ought be 'picked on'. I agree that many atheists dont understand what they talk about, just like a good deal of people of the faith.
