I really do not care about the bigger person. These are my Brother and Sister....people who I would put my life in there hands and they would do that same for me as well. They where unarmed and not guilty of anything. They should have not put out that he was alive...and tortured him to get all the info they needed then killed him. kept it covered up...

I feel the same way. But again, killing him is only going to bring more pain and suffering. Torturing him then killing him is only going to make you just like him.

No, I live on Fort Hood. I was stationed here last year in March, deployed last year in August, just got back in early September and have been living here since then and not by choice as my unit is here, 21st CAV. I never made the accusation. But information is going every which way right now. We'll know what's really going on, who's alive and who isn't, and all that tomorrow. Us from the news, you from your Sergeant, or from some officer. We all should let it settle a bit before we start looking for answers from anywhere. We'll all find out tomorrow what the actual numbers are.

But seriously, give it a rest, and wait to hear from your Sergeant tomorrow. Or whoever your superior is. I'll probably hear more than I want to at PT Saturday. One of the Sergeants is bound to know someone, or someone who was there.

How lame is this to fight back and forth over something so stupid in this topic. If you are from Fort Hood Show some ******** Respect for you battles that where lost today and be the bigger person and stop >.> really what dose it matter if you live there or not, or what this person thinks. <.<

1) you where wrong at first about the reports, but then agian I have been watching the news for 4 hours now....so...I can not blame you. I am sure the people you heard it from where doing other things rather then watching the news. like keeping the Fort safe.

2) you should turn on the news and keep up to date....even more so since you are there...

How's about trying that he was probably born here and obviously got fed up with his fellow soldiers loosing their marbles during war.

Waterboarding and any form of fear based interrogation is barbaric because it causes unneeded stress and psychological trauma. Not only that but it also gives you incorrect and often inaccurate information. neutral

That is true that most of the time it dose give incorrect info...and that is why it is not something that we would do if we REALLY wanted to hear what they had to say. I don't know, when it comes down to it, I am just pissed.

I really do not understand how something like this could happen. how did he have time to reload both weapons without someone tacking action? dose his race come into play here...I mean I do not think it dose....but I mean it could?

I hope that there are allot of answers to these questions....but more so...how do you tell a mother that her son made it home safe from Iraq to be kill by a US Officer for the Army.....

I got my information from my chain who recieved this information from the IG himself, and I just recieved that just a little bit before I posted it. So until I'm heard otherwise from my chain, I was told that the major was shot as dead, as what is suppose to happen. But either way, he is going to be killed.

I don't believe anybody returning from Iraq was killed or wounded, not that is makes more or any less sad, it's tragic either way, but from what I know, it was a reservist unit who was at the SRP site who was getting ready to deploy. However, you still have no idea who else was there, and I don't believe any of the shootings happened outside of the SRP site, but they did capture one of the shooters at the main PX, which is about 2 miles away.

You can maybe try calling him now, I believe most of the base is out of lock down. Hell, I was locked in the airfield and I'm out, and the airfield took the longest, so he might be okay to talk.
