Except that they are apparently during the day.

Get your facts straight.
Probably the one where I read a book. You arn't supposed to be able to read in your dreams.
The one where I managed to make a post without Dylan KleNO DYLAN NO DON'T SHOOT ME YOU a*****e NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

But actually, I like the ones where I get stuff done and it gets me all motivated and stuff.
I think my favorite dream was one where Niel Patrick Harrison was trying to murder me, he was dressed in a cops uniform. It was quite funny.

Though my most memorable dream was more of a nightmare in which I was in a room full of needles projecting from every single space around me aside from where I occupied at any given time. They followed me as I moved and would not stab me, yet I was terrified of moving for fear of being stabbed. Forgot to mention I've been known to sprint out of doctors offices at the sight of a needle...

Nobody believes me. But there's no way that I read what I did outside a dream. It was way too nutty... I actually vowed to murder the guy who wrote it in dream. But I woke up before achieving my goal crying

You also arn't supposed to be able to taste things you eat. I havn't heard of anyone doing that yet. But with my reading thing I wouldn't say it's impossible.

Feeling pain isn't supposed to be possible. But I've been hit in dream, and felt the pain. I've always wondered though... If you arn't supposed to be able to feel pain, what's the point of pinching yourself to wake up?

Pinching yourself is supposed to "prove" you're in a dream. Also, in lucid dreams it's possible to taste and feel pain, though it's not a traditional dream, and you allow yourself to taste/feel/see everything you want.

Do you know of any effective lucid dream induction techniques?

Dream diaries help, though beyond that I can't really help. I've been lucid dreaming on a semi-regular basis since I was 5. I don't know how or why I do it, it just kinda happens. Dream diaries increased the frequency of them for me when I had a psyche project based on dreams though.
I've never had a lucid dream last more than a few 'seconds.' Because as soon as I get control, I wake up. Never fails, I can't maintain a lucid dream.

I was not in control of my dreams when I read or felt pain. If I was, I would have thought nothing of a disturbing document because there are so many more interesting things I could do than go out and kill the author.

Interesting, though I'm certain it's not impossible or an uncommon occurrence. I've had dreams shift from lucid back to normal on many occasions.
Eh maybe. But if I had control at the time that these things were happening, I was unaware of it.
