There's a difference between creativity and skill. Someone can be very creative, but have no particular talent with which to express that creativity. Alternatively, someone can have great painting skill, but have no creativity behind what they paint.

I think being creative in your head is already creative. Just because others can't see it doesn't mean it doesn't count. I consider myself creative. I make loads of things, but I also have even more just in my head.

Usually people who are very creative in their minds find a way to express it outside of their minds. It just sort of spills out ^-^.
