I would name my children a normal common name, preferably one that was popular at the time. That way when my child reaches school years they don't have an embarrassing name to be teased about.

For a girl: "Claire", "Monica" or "Julia". With either "Ariadne" or "Jehanne" as a middle name. Hopefully I'll have at least three daughters so I can use all three first names. : D

For a boy: Not sure about a first name, but his middle name will be "Danger". I'll probably let the dad pick the first name. Knowing my taste in men it will probably be a reference to something geeky yet awesome. Probably something like "Yorick" or "Abe".
