I won't have a child, but I always liked the name Nathaniel. I'd name a girl Nathaniel anyway. Just because I like that name so much.

Female: Alexandra or Samantha.

Male: Alexander or Drake.

Why is it that (almost) everyone is posting serious names that will most likely cause the child to be mocked and/or have people constantly mispronouncing his/her name?

I would definelt name a baby girl Inanna-goddess of love, fertility, and fighting.

I would name mine d**k, because YOU'RE AN a*****e.

For us Hare Krishnas it is a long, proud tradition. One kid at my temple is named parikshit, with emphasis on the end...

Once I take initiation, I am going to have a funky name, and chances are I will send my child to Gurukula (Hindu religious school) where all the kids will have equaly Vedic names

As of 6/22/09 I am living life as a monk in the Gaudiya Vaisnava tradition, and as such, my replies and frequency online shall be greatly diminished

YOU'RE 16. you have no place having a kid this early. If you can't spell correctly, you have no business being knocked up.

Actually, such business is perhaps the SOLE business of 16 year olds who can't read.

Because if you ain't readin', you're countin' ceiling tiles.

Don't be rude. Everyone has a place.

Boy: Liam or Felix -- Liam is a lovely name and Felix was the name of my grandfather
Girl: Claire or Kevin -- Claire is also a lovely name and Kevin is my father's name, but I think it would be unconventional if it were a girl's name

'tis the voice of the Lobster: i heard him declare
"you have baked me too brown, i must sugar my hair."
as a duck with its eyelids, so he with his nose
trims his belt and his buttons, and turns out his toes.

Boy: Vladimir, Akatsuki, or Jai
Girl: Angel, Hope, or Sable (Sabel)

If I had kids someday, I'd probably name them one of these names. I really like unique names or at least some that aren't as common. These sound like nice ones 3nodding (Angel & Sable [Sabel] are Unisex names)

So close... && yet so far away... It hurts, being away from teh one you love. It's hard... when you have someone you love in your heart... but you can't have them in your arms...

All of the "boy" names will most likely end in him being mocked.

I'm not going to be a hypocrite and post a thread whining, so...
If you see a blatantly spam or misplaced thread, do NOT reply to it. Report it. By replying, you bump it to the top of the front page, prolonging it. DON'T REPLY!
Bloodlust RP: Vampires, Werewolves, and... Fairies? Sorry, no fairies. Demons, a whole bunch of other stuff, yes!!!

So that explains Vlad the Impaler.

What can change the nature of a man?
Werewolves are the superior race

Racist much?
I don't plan on having demon spawn, but I do have a few names I like.
Girl: Ella, Scarliana (nicknamed Scar or Ana)
Boy: Luke (Lukey as a cute nickname), Kristopher (Krissy or Kris as a nickname), Micheal

You can't fake a bond like that.
You can't break a bond like that.
I support love, even if it's just friendship.
Kradam is love.

If it's a boy, definitely Pegasus Ezekiel. It's character building.

Seriously, you're asking a bunch of children about what names they think would be wicked awesome to have, you think you're going to get anything that isn't completely retarded? I'm actually surprised we haven't had any Edward or Bella contestants yet. rolleyes

The new Rickroll.
MY PRETTIES!
For girls, I like the names Ramiel, Liaden, or Madra.

For boys, I like Tobias or Jace.

It depends. I have alot of names for kids I want, some being unusual, and all having (some) meaning.

If I have boys (only), none are twins:
Viral (Gurren Lagann reference), Nero (crazy), Vlad (crazy), Cody (my best friend), Todd (my step father).

I have girls (only), none are twins:
Elizabeth (Persona 3 reference), Victoria (a reference to a story I'm writing)

If I have Twins - one of each gender:
Michael (boy), Gabriel (girl) (named after Archcangels)

If I have Twins(or more) - boys:
Jacob, Cody, Josh, Brandon, Noah (all named after friends)

If I have Twins(or more) - girls:
Briana, Marellen, Lindsey (all good friends).

Incase of bizzare genderless children:
Azrael, Ramiel, Uriel (archangels, again)

Looks like we have a few in common... interesting... I wonder if fate is playing a hand, here?
