Atlus-sama LUZnaturally Atlus-sama Well for medical practices I can completely condone upon, but for me,if you don't MEDICALLY need it,you don't deserve it. Don't deserve it? Are you sure? Why would a plant like that naturally grow if all humans could not have the right to benefit from it? Why only people who need it for medical reasons? Everyone has the right to use it. You 'aint King Kong. wait?so you're denying others who might ACTUALLY need it so you can get a kick off it?because there's such a thing as supply,but aside from this just because it's natural doesn't mean it's good for you. If marijuana were in short supply, I would agree with you. But it's very easy to grow and to produce. There's plenty to go around. |

I don't think it's only for those who have the medical card to get it. If you don't have insurance, how are you going to obtain this card for things you know you need it for? ( I live in Oklahoma, a state where it is illegal) It helps a lot of things. Sorry guys, I'm a chick, but it helps with pms cramps. Definately. There are reasons to still get it, even without it being actually prescribed. |

codemanis codemanis i find the plant to be harmless. the experience you go through gives you new thoughts and ideas on how things work and raises a whole new level of awareness. (at least for me). weed reduces stress and pain and makes people more relaxed and happy from what i have seen. as for the talk of "not deserving it" there are many sources where you can get weed (primarily Mexico) and although it takes time to grow weed, i seriously doubt that we are using more than we can grow. if we used weed at a higher rate then we could grow it, then it would be more expensive, just like growing food or crops. if fact, the only reason weed and food would get expensive now, is because of the gas prices rising which makes shipping more expensive. just because a person does not have joint problems, does not mean that they should not smoke. by the way. 30% of america DOWN THE LINE use pot. the teachers, the police, the parents, lawyers, it goes on. and you better not judge that these people are bad at their jobs just because they smoke it.. that would be a form of discrimination. kids in collage smoke it and still graduate and get great careers. weed is not a dangerous thing. unless your all about "tripping balls" then you might go and try harder things. very nicely said! |

Not a fan of mind altering drugs. I cannot say that I personally support it's use, for any reason. I've actually broken up with a woman after she told me that she never touched pot, then I found out how often she did. That said, I guess it's just a pet peeve of mine.

It's terrible stuff, ruins families and lives. went blind and died from weed? this is something weird to my ears since you can't over dose. its true that everyone gets a different reaction to the plant. since it was not really stated how he died, all i can think of is how the person was getting weed. i don't know how dangerous it is to go and get weed, but if you die from it, then i guess that just adds to the sadness of it being illegal. so i don't know if its the side effects that killed the person (i doubt) or the actions taken when under the influence. or something, kind of don't really see how you can die from it, did the doctors give more details or something? also, its possible that a family could be messed up and weed is just something around the house to chill out after an argument. |

There was a docometry about WEED and they say! if you smoke it for your whole life! you can developed Schitzophrenia.
I have a friend who smokes WEED and other drugs acid! frist she was fine at the year just smoke WEED and sometimes other drugs! as we are doing an animation course together! but when she got involed with this guy! who use to be in our school but left because he is out of it and take heavy drugs! she got worse! she doesn't even come to the course! she feels sick at the envirorment she lives in because that guy makes drugs! If you smoke! WEED! it can lead to other drugs aswel. And I have seen people who smoke WEED that lead to pee. So recommend stop taking WEED if possible!  |

I live in Canada where medicinal marijuana is legal, and being prescribed it has made a HUGE difference.
Not having tried it before my health problems, the disparity between what taking it was like and what I had heard about it growing up was shocking- It wasn't addictive, I didn't compulsively start committing crimes, it didn't cause brain death, nor did it cause me to want to take harder drugs. The pain relief is, in my opinion, superior to that of opiates. I was on morphine and tramadol to the extent that I would get withdrawal if I missed a dose. Being able to fully or even mostly replace narcotic medications with something that causes no withdrawal is a pretty positive result! The stress and tension relief of it is phenomenal as well, and I actually had decreased appetite from it... I also now 'get' Dave Chappell 3nodding There are of course nagatives with it, as with anything- I dislike the 'high' feeling, so I take synthetic THC which causes less of it. And, of course, if you depend entirely upon something external for stress relief you can become dependant on it regardless of its inability to physically addict. TLDR- It's nice. xd |

Marajuana doesn't make people psycho. No one thinks that. I'm not sure where you got that at all.
But it most certainly isn't good for you. It's basically for people who are terminal and have severe pain to weaken the pain. It's not like they need the brain cells they are using anyways... And it doesn't help with depression, it just lets you escape from reality temporarily. Which in effect is avoiding the problem rather than treating it. You still have to come back to reality. |

Actually, it's not... Over 90 million Americans have admitted to smoking marijuana. Hundreds of important figures in history have smoked it including politicians, scientists, philosophers...Half of the greatest musicians of all time have indulged regularly in it. How ignorant of you to compare them to junkies. Also, you can't compare Cocaine, Heroin (that's how you spell Heroin, by the way), and Vicodin to Marijuana. Vicodin is a synthetic drug. Heroin and Cocaine cause permanent tissue damage within the first use. Marijuana's symptoms dissipate after a few hours. I see no similarities, and therefore no argument. Marijuana isn't a harmful drug. THC holds no addict-forming chemical compounds. Now scientists are starting to believe THC improves cognitive left brain activities. If you're misinformed, I wouldn't be forming an opinion if I were you. It just ends up making you look dumb in the end... ON THAT NOTE! I smoke weed because I have a subjuxation in my neck that produces chronic pain. It helps me immensely and I don't particularly want to start taking addictive pain medication. |

No really, cocaine addicts do great jobs, and so do heroine addicts and Vicodin addicts, so your point is about as realistically defensive as air is padding against a football lineman. it is with out a doubt that cocaine and heroine are way more harsh and hard than weed. although there are people that are employed that do these drugs while doing their jobs well, i doubt that you could get a good career if you take coke or any hard core drug. i don't find it possible for me to graduate collage if i took heroine. drug tests are around for a reason. and i say that i probably won't get a good career because these hard core drugs alter your personality in negative ways that may put your future at risk. so compaired to weed (which doesn't do that). i actually find my argument to be fine |
