Read on Malcolm X and his philosophy towards segregation of cultures and black culture.
It's debatable what is more progressive

Yes, well, if Malcolm X is your inspiration, then we're pretty much done here.
Does Malcolm scare you?

I feel like the impact of Malcolm X was stunted when compared to that of Dr. Martin Luther King because of his 'me against the world' mentality.

I think they both had a lot of valid points and philosophies.
What do you mean when you say you feel that his impact was stunted?
He was considered dangerous and the larger threat. Martin Luther King didn't alienate himself either.
[Skeptical]

Dr. King was assassinated by the US Government. He must have alienated someone.

I have no issue with it - if more generalised sites were less racist, then it wouldn't be needed, but unfortunately it is. Until the "majority" can learn to play nicely with minority groups, I think they do need their own space to feel safe, as unfortunate as it is. I would prefer it if this kind of thing didn't have to happen, but for the moment it does. I don't think its racist, although I completely understand where those who do are coming from. And while I acknowledge the irony of black people creating "black people only" spaces, if they feel its necessary then it clearly is.

Maybe instead of crying about how racist it is, people should try and make more inclusive sites and discourage racism from happening on them, so exclusive race sites don't need to be created in the first place?

It's not fear. It's a disagreement of tone, of goals.

I disagree with the notion that segregation, whether by choice or by force, can bring peace. I think the nations and peoples of the world need to unify and accept the complete triviality of their notions of "culture".

And I don't hold individuals accountable for the actions of their peers, especially when they're only "peers" because of their outward appearance.
