Even if this is true, why does it matter? What good does it do to even research something like this? Scientific studies are used to advance, but I do not see the benefit of learning the results.

There is one thing I slightly agree with this guy about:

Actually, it makes perfect sense that geographically separated peoples would evolve different intellectual capacities.
However:
There is no reason to assume that the intellectual capacity of Africans is lower than that of Western European; in fact, it might make sense logically to assume that they should have evolved with a higher intellectual capacity because, with their much limited resources in the deserts of Africa, they had to develop more intelligence in order to survive. Also, why not apply that logic to other areas of the world? Does this scientiest also assume that polynesian intellectual capacities or Japanese intellectual capacities vary greatly, because they were separated evolutionarily? Why just look at Africans here?
It is important to note here the enormous difference between intellectual capacity and intelligence/knowledge He might be right that African-Americans as a whole test lower than descendents of European or Asian countries (I don't know, I haven't seen any of the data on this stuff). However, this hardly proves that their intellectual capacity is lower. There are a number of factors that could contribute to this, including that because of cultural and economic factors, African-Americans as a whole might be recieving less education and/or have less of an academic-encouraging environment.

Besides, I'm sure African Americans have integrated enough into society and interbreeded (that word sounds horrible in this context but I can't think of a better one and you know what i mean) with European descendents enough to make the possible evolutionary difference nonexistant at this point.

This thread again? How many times has this story been recycled in ED? People are really running with this topic. [Insert PC theres only humans.] A guess a story like this would give racists a justification to practice their beliefs, but what I find interesting is that there has yet to be information to prove that there is a geneological link between race and intelligence but there are studies which prove that less intelligent people are more likely to be prejudice.
