The MP5 is only super effective, if you want to go that far, at close ranges. Due to the small frame and barrel accuracy over distance is crap. Couple that with having a full auto option and you got yourself a mess. The caliber also sucks. It'll take too much ammo.
Supressed? Why, they're zombies. Muzzle flash still happens even with a supressor.

Are you trained in using a Katar? It looks like it will be hell to try and just pick up and roll with.
That sword looks ok. Kinda thin. I wouldn't expect to do a lot of damage with it.
Hell no I'm not trained, but It'd be badass. I could choose a tank or a plane, but that would make me look like a tardsass (even though it would allow me to fly my a** out of there.)
Imagine some left 4 dead scenario where there's a small group of people. Each of them have different weapons and strategies to utilize against their zombified enemies. Now imagine one of them turning around and shouting "Hey, there's that guy with that tank!" I'd feel ironically insignificant. Despite the fact that he could wipe out 10 times more zombies, he'd look like a total c***e. Maybe some would prefer it, but I sure as hell wouldn't want to be that guy. See where I'm going with this?

No I don't. If there was a tank I'd be on it.

Ditto.

You didn't read the OP.

Tanks and planes are out of the question. You're looking like a tardass.
*sigh* I attempted. Please, allow me to use the fail corner in peace.

I'm resubmitting my shovel and a shotgun combo. The one in the chamber, and the first in the tube are slugs, and then the next 3 are buckshot. I'd also wear my leather Jacket, and long pants (Cargo toughskins), with some manor of boot with a steel toe.
I'd put on my old battle dress. You know how much it hurts to be kicked by a combat boot? Good for squishy zombie head stomping. Better support than tennis shoes.

I'd probably wear jeans, a white t-s**t, and running shoes. I can't do parkour in boots.
I have steel towed boots, so I'd wear those with black jeans and a hoodie. I would wear my trench coat, but that could get me killed.
I'm used to running in boots. I learned how to drive a stick shift while I was in. Some people saying driving a manual is harder with boots. Meh.

I've done just about anything you can imagine in boots.

Edit-I'd say tightfitting clothes would be best. Nothing worse than being grabbed by your flowy trenchcoat. But if you wanna look cool.....

Never heard that one. I had a manual in High School, and my normal footwear was boots.

It wouldn't look cool if I was dying. If I was bitten though, I'd wear it at my final stand.

Me either but my old first sergeant told me I was crazy for it. Me and Ingram did it just fine. I always wore boots to school. I was wearing combat boots since 8th grade. Legit combat boots. Not the goth/emo boots with like 80000 buckles and steel plates and spikes.

Edit: Definately would NOT do that in boots.

Yeah, combat boots have always felt more comfortable. My dad gave me a pair he had in the army when I was in eighth grade, and I haven't stopped wearing combat boots since.
