Another good reason to have a mule or two is to store your more expensive items in case you get hacked. I only have what I'm currently wearing and a few thousand gold worth of gold shop items on this acct.

She ignored you because she doesn't want to deal with you. Simple. Leave it alone. She was emotional about the topic, and despite you thinking you were respectful, she obviously doesn't think you were. Now respect that she's decided she doesn't want to talk to you, and don't make a big deal about it.

burning_eyes
I disagree as when someone
asks about an important question about Rape..

to block someone fore there views
is in itself disrespectful, also she didn't really talk with me
so how could she have been tiered of me..

it just makes her seem like a foolish young girl and
push more people agent her side then for it..

though I thank you for your reply..

She was raped and you were saying she wasn't, how was that respectful? She doesn't have to converse with you to get tired of your posts. She can read them, even if you aren't speaking to her.
She is a young girl. Someone who went through something traumatic and you acted like it was nothing. In fact, you claimed she raped him. You acted like you feel as if it's more important to state your opinion than to help her. You now act as if it's more important that she was what you see as disrespectful to you than it is to console a young girl.

Eh.

burning_eyes
well I was blocked from the
"Is this rape thread" for not agreeing with

the op there and giving my opinion, on the topic
wasn't being disrespectful or really talking with the
op over there but others.. so do you think we should ignore

people like her in the future or give them a chance??

Well ignore them cause they're going to ignore you but.

I suppose if they don't ignore them give them a chance, like you did of course. 3nodding

burning_eyes
I see thank you for your thoughts
as I saw it she asked an open ended question and was
looking for help, though I think I'll simply ignore her type from here
on out as there listless and a wast of time...

thank you again for your view...

No problem! blaugh

burning_eyes
I don't have mules, nor do I think
I need them, if I was being off topic, attacking people
or just over all rude and disrespectful then I understand the

block.. though to be on topic and being respectful and getting
my point across in a fair and logical way... make me
wonder should I just ignore, persons like in
from here on...
I ignore anyone who annoys me beyond a certain extent, whether or not I talk with them. I just don't care to read their posts, see their sigs, etc. I adore the ignore feature, and was very happy to find out about it when I joined Gaia. For a while, I had more on my ignore list than on my friends list. lol It makes for a lot less stress not seeing their nonsense.

Which thread was it, may I ask?

burning_eyes
I see that point of it.. and
it was called..

It this rape... or would this be rape something of that type
though when you ask a question and the person is debating the
facts you've given to the thread.. why block them if there

not being disrespectful and are on topic of the post
it make me feel they just want a pity party... and nothing more..
Oh yeah, I posted there too. I think she was raped. I see you argued that she was the rapist because of possible statutory laws, but without knowing her state, I cannot judge whether she violated said laws; nor do I think that consensual sex should ever be a crime, i.e. statutory rape laws should be stricken from the books.

Just because a topic is debatable does not mean that we had a debate. We didn't even have a conversation.

You failed to use reliable sources for your "facts" so you were just spewing words, and had an unstructured opinion. You were disrespectful to OP. She was obviously hurt by the situation she described, yet you acted like how she felt meant nothing. Hence why she blocked you. I highly suggest you educate yourself on how to properly resource a topic before attempting to debate, and how to do so respectfully

burning_eyes
So what your saying is even if your on topic and
using the facts that where giving to you

you believe it's fair to block someone that you
dislike what they're saying?? I really don't care if she
was hurt if I'm using the information, she gave to make my point

please tell me in what way was my thread thoughts weren't educated
or factual, though i do understand your on her side and just
want people to agree with you, but why ask the question in the first place then?

of course it's fair, she can choose to ignore whomever she wants. There are no limitations on how many/who to put on ignore. There is no moral obligation either, nor should you take offense to it. All it means is she doesn't want to see your posts. She is young and obviously emotional, have some respect.

Because you did not reference any reliable sources to prove your claims, nor did you show any understanding of what "consent," "peer pressure" or "rape" means legally or by the dictionary definition.

burning_eyes
I disagree with you and your claim of fairness
I wasn't debating with her, but others, she'd grant us information that we'd use
to support our points on the matter.. also if you didn't want to hear different
points of view why make a thread, about it..
just ask those on your friends list..

because once you open it up to anyone
your going to get people who disagree with you
and your view..

I don't give respect to thought that don't give it back
nor do I subscribe to agism, again I used the information she
provided, never once called her out of her name
unless in showing how she's be painted in a court of law..

If you don't know the definition of rape your
shouldn't be having sex in the first place...
also to block without warning, just makes me think
even more she's full of it... and in a court of law she'd be eaten alive..

I used the facts of the real world not just what, books say, but how
people would treat her.. nothing more or less...

the guy was 15 and she was 17, I don't know if it was all that
traumatic as she was joking about not caring about the law and was
high at the time as he was...

I'm not her parent, friend, or sibling, I have no emotional attachment to her

you're misinformed. She did not whisper, but did not yell. He acknowledged her request to stop and continued anyway. Have you dealt with rape cases in the courts? Do you have proof that it won't hold up in court? Because if we base it on the responses she's received so far, the majority believe she was raped.
