The way I think of it: If the universe is an ever-growing infinite, the the possibilities are infinite.

I think it's ridiculous to think we're alone.

Pretty much agree with the OP. It is arrogant to think that we are the most technologically superior species and the whole infinite universe, and in addition to that, arrogant to think that we are worth contacting.

I believe they're real. If the universe is truly infinite then every thing imaginable is out there somewhere.
That includes aliens now the thing is if we've really actually seen them or made contact?
I cannot say.. however, I believe that we're not the only planet that has intelligent life forms on it. There is just no way.

I think it is logically impossible for us to be the only planet in the universe with living beings/organisms. Well, maybe we are the only planet in this solar system with living beings since it is inhabitable, but there has to be other planets out there much like ours with living beings...if that made any sense?
