Queen Shining Heaven
Last week, Al-Qaeda leader Ayman Al-zawahiri announced that Al-Qaeda would merge with the Somali militant group known as Al-Shabab. There is to be a gathering today outside of Mogadishu in support of this merger. My thoughts are, is this a major thing? I'd never heard of Al-Shabab before now, and would adding them to Al-Qaeda change anything?
So al Qaeda allegedly was supposed to have pulled off a massive summer blockbuster movie event like the 9/11 tragedy...but all they've allegedly been able to do is an underwear bomb attempt since?
The whole Islamic extremist terror thing is passe'. It's old, even the US has declared they're no longer focused on it and are moving on to strategizing against major country wars in the future. And a recent report said there is NO Muslim extremist threat to America...that we're more likely to see violence by white right wing extremists like with what Norway experienced.
Somalia's biggest problem is the worst famine in the world, not some cavemen wishing it was 80's Afghanistan
