Welcome to Gaia! ::

There is a theory (similar to yours in some ways but not really) based on studies that show boys with many older brothers are more likely to be gay that deals with this. Basically it states that as the mother has more boys her body treats each son more and more like a foreign object and her body produces hormones and stuff of the like that basically attack the fetus feminizing it.

I'm not sure if I agree but...yeah.

It also does nothing to explain lesbians but I can accept that there may be different causes for male and female homosexuality.
Why are you thinking about homosexuals all the time? ._.
Errr, no not really. Being effeminate doesn't make a guy gay. I know plenty of straight guys who act what many consider to be "gay".
Considering the levels of estrogen and other hormones in the water supply i don't really see the evidence supporting your theory.

I don't know if someone said this or not, but I'll add that I think some female homosexuality could come (usually, not always) from the way we are raised to be loving and caring and our natural drive to be that way/skin-hunger. Another female may reciprocate that behavior/affection and satisfy emotional need.

This is not the case with why I prefer females to males, but its something I could see being a reason for some.

On another note, I heard that the more sons born to one mother, the younger of them is more likely to be gay.
I don't know about that idea, but its just something I remember having heard.
That doesn't really clear up everything, especially if you want to consider other ideas like Psychodevelopment.
