i don't think discipline is lax in childcare i think the problem is it's too organized...kids should be able to develop their own schedules and also kids need one on one time but in daycares there's up to 4 infants to 1 teacher and stuff

not sure if it actually ruined marriage or not though. i wonder if it's actually true that people never had sex before marriage or never cheated or anything. or if it happened but people ignored it and just tried to remain married anyways.

actually i don't think 'feminism' ruined marriage but something else like maybe the economy. but it does seem like life was better when marriage was successful more than not.

actually i wonder if marriage is necessary at all. there's a village in china where the custom is that everyone just sleeps around with whoever but the kids are raised by the mom and her family/brothers/sisters. i don't think i like that but it could work i guess.

Yeah, really? I have a friend who's not married but has on and off dated a guy for like eight or nine years and they now live together and have had their first baby together, with a possible plan for one more, if her health is stable enough for it. And her little boy is a miracle, after several miscarriages she's had this year (2013-2014) alone.

Also, in my case I WANT my husband to have another wife or two... both to have other female companions around my age to hang with and talk with and help with the kids/pets/etc. AND to take some of the pressure and heat off of me (sexual relief) by way of him having another outlet or two available. Plus, I am bisexual, so I would get in on being with another female in a closed Poly-amorous family.

I do it in a different way though. I encourage my bf (we're together for a decade almost) to 'cheat' on me. So that he knows he's desirable, will feel more attractive and confident and that way he will be a better lover in my bed. We have an open relationship so to speak. He doesn't even have to share everything with me if he doesn't want to. He doesn it anyway, but that's only because he likes to share it with me and not because I demand to know.

A person who does what they want and is themselves, without worry about what other people think of them; people who view each other and themselves as equals, and so on? It can't apply to every situation when there are so many people out there like that.

Wrong. I don't have to have sex with my boss. He cuts me a paycheck for services rendered. He has zero say in my life the second my shift ends as opposed to 24 hours a day. I am under no religious or supposed ethical/moral commitment to stay inferior to him. I can advance past him, even become HIS boss at some point. Traditionalist marriage does not allow for any of this.
