Paso is indeed awesome. I've never done waltz.
I've been taking Ballroom (latin) lessons for 5 years. Originally, I started so that my sister would have a partner. I didn't really care about it, at least not at first. My sister lost interest and quit after six months.
I didn't.
It's great fun, and I absolutely love competing. I was nervous the first few times, but now I eagerly await competitions.
