Cheerleading is and always will be a sport. Cheerleading requires a lot of strength and coordination, unlike some other sports. Also, who else can throw a girl in the air 20 feet and catch her? (Not to mention she does acrobatics in the air) Even cheerleaders have to be smart. We know whats happening in the game. Unlike most of the the people in the stands and sometimes even the players.A a cheerleader does all of this while in a skirt. My football team at my high school were cheerleaders for a day. It turns out that they now know how much hard work it really is to be a cheerleader. biggrin biggrin

So? Just because a judge didn't rule it as a sport doesn't mean the dictionary definition has changed. So it's still a sport.
