Wow. Really man. Couture got beat by Lesnar and Chuck.
Fedor has that one punch KO ability so lets not even go there plus Fedor is world class in the clinch also. Plus he can fight off his back. There isnt much Couture has going for him.

Those guys throw hammers. You get hit by those you go out.
And Fedor has only had 2 career KO victories and 4 TKO victories from strikes. Sure he has power, but his technique could use some work. Randy is also has a world class clinch. Randy can fight off his back (look at the Lesnar fight, Brock Lesnar couldn't keep him down). Sure each have their advantages and disadvantages, but to say that Randy Couture has nothing going for him ... is just wrong
Your telling me that Fedor has holes in his standing game. Your obviously blind he could stand with Mirko Cro Cop, Tim Slyvia, Andre, and Big Nog. All of which have a better striking then Randy. Plus Randy wouldnt be able to do what he could against Fedor in the clinch because Fedor is a world class Judo and Sambo fighter and on the ground on his back with Fedor. Plus if your telling me that Brock Lesnar and Chuck Lidell have better technique then Fedor your an idiot. Brock is just learning his stand up game and throws wild and when Chuck throws those big wind up soft ball punches he is just asking to get countered in the face. As for Randy's wrestling ability I think he could possibly lay and pray on Fedor letting him have just enough work on the ground to ride out a desicion. Along with striking I think he has the power to KO anyone with one pucnh if he can land that one punch but, I dont see any of those things happening.
Even technique wise, Fedor's technique is kind of sloppy. Andrei was beating him on the feet ... up until that flying knee.
Of course we don't know what will happen in the clinch. We won't know what will happen on the feet ... hell we won't know anything till these two actually fight ...
I have to be honest right now. Your defending of Randy is getting pretty annoying. Lets be real Randy is well into his fourties and Fedor has fought people who have some great wrestling ability too. Sure Randy has his wrestling and dirty boxing but, looking at his tools and Fedor's tools they play perfectly into Fedor's strengths. As I have said before Fedor is a world champion is Judo and Sambo with great bjj also. He knows how to fight off his back and in the clinch. Fedor has also fought great strikers Andrei has amazingly fast hands and Fedor had some good head movement there was dodging alot of those shots. Randy doesnt have the boxing ability that Andrei has let alone the boxing speed. Randy isnt a Kevin Randleman sure Randy has fought fighters like Chuck who have that one punch KO ability but, even Chuck avenged his lose to Randy and beat him two more times. So how can you really say that a man as well rounded that has very few weakness would fair against Fedor. If Randy and Fedor were to fight a hundred fights I see Fedor winning at least eighty of those fights. Randy has good hand power and knows how to control an opponent so I'll give him that but, besides from those two things I dont see alot going for him.
And your worship of Fedor is quite disturbing ... you treating him like he is infallable ... almost like he is godlike ... he is only human (though others would beg to differ). Okay I admit Fedor is a good fighter ... probably one of the best out there ... but there are other fighters out there too ...
As towards Chuck's KO's over Couture ... the first one was, because Randy left himself open to that counter. The second was because Randy slipped and Chucked captalized.
As for his weaknesses ... everyone has weaknesses ... Fedor has chinks in his armor ... just no one has really found them ... yet ...
We will never know till the fight actually happens ... everything we say is based on statistics ... the has to happen in order to put this to rest ...
But until then, Ill defend Randy Couture and you defend Fedor Emelianenko ... sound fair ...
