swimming is the hardest sport and i don't care what football plays say just ask your coach, and i can't believe Michael Phelps is going to retire after London. i get to see an Olympian every day accept Sunday and i am on a really small USA (year round competitive swim team) team.

Swimming is not the hardest sport. It's not easy, but swimming being the hardest sport is just your opinion.
Do you really see an Olympian every day?

I agree. Swimming isn't exactly THE hardest sport (I've been a swimmer for 8 years on a rec team), but it does require a lot of work from a lot of different muscle groups.

I do think, though, that being really good at swimming may help you in a lot of other different sports/activities (like, say, dance, skateboarding, running, basketball, soccer, whichever).

Swimming can help you with dance? I don't see were you got the from...anyway I wouldn't say swimming is the hardest sport cause in a magazine they rated the top hardest sports (this was done by professional's/doctors/etc.) The first sport was tackle football and second ballet.

i love swimming too! i do agree, it is the hardest sport. what team are you on? im on the pleasanton seahawks. its in california

i agee it is not THE hardest but it does take muscle lol i dont swim in competitions or anything but i do have a pool at both my parents houses and it does take strength lol even in small pools razz it is amazing tho
