I'm a massive Wand fan, but I dunno if they should toss him in with the contenders for his first fight at UD. I'd like them to give him a good test, thought I do admit in the Rich Franklin fight he looked pretty decent and I personally thought he won I think a 'tune up' fight will be good for Wanderlei when he returns to the octagon. Oh and if anyone keeps up with his youtube channel he looks alot better, his facial surgery seemed to have went well and he looks leaner, I think we're gonna see a brand new Wand, I think Wilson Gouveia will be a good return fight for him, though it would be a tough one for me to watch, those are two of my faves at MW.
After Okami handles Sonnen I'd love to see him take on Maia. I suppose Dan/Nate could fight for the title, but I personally think that Dan should get the title shot then let Vitor/Nate go at it for the next shot. Dan has three great wins in a row, beating Rousimar Palhares, who is a straight BEAST of a man, Rich Franklin, and crumpling Bisping, I think the shot is more deserved than anyone else. Nate has three good wins, but I consider Dan's to be against the more formidable opponents for sure. That's just my take on the UFC MW situation. |
