I am definitively more interested in the Japanese MMA scene more so because I really do enjoy what gets put on by the Japanese in how they allow for the flashier entrances. I still think that the better fighters are for the most part in the UFC outside of the lightweight and heavyweight divisions, excluding a select few in Shields, Lawler, Sobral, Nogueira and Belfort, more so when it comes to determining the top ten in each division.
Diego's stand up is not that great IMO, he's pretty unorthodox where he uses his uppercut far more often than most but in doing so he leaves himself wide open and any competent, quick striker could make him take a good hook and take him right out of his game plan, that and the front kick to force him to have to try and jab it out, something I feel that he cannot do.
