Did you know that Ji Han Jae, the Grandmaster of Hapkido, TRAINED Bruce Lee for one of his movies because he couldn't roll? He even got to be in one of Bruce's movies! Grandmaster said that Jeet Kun Do was a very sloppy style. I think he's right, it's more flash than it is self-defense

Heh, I knew they did a movie together but I didn't know he taught Bruce how to roll - that is damn amusing!

I was surprised too. I can't remember exactly which movie, but it's a scene where Bruce gets thrown out of a house or something and he rolls on the ground. Your guess is a good as mine

I've seen a clip of their fight scene together. Sadly though, I think there's a lot that could've been better about it.

You think? I actually thought it was great! I enjoyed the fighting a lot more, that's for sure!

I haven't had a chance to see the sequel. I wish Jackie were doing more movies in the US but there really hasn't been as much in the last few years.

somthing i need to point out i have a heditor dislocated hip (means it naturally becomes dislokated sometimes) my last operation was 6 years ago and we think (thouch wood) its been cured i do ju-Jitsu we kick throw each other on the floor mess with each others joins in ways that could damage us for life yet the stuff i do in p.e hurts my hip so much more we where sprinting and i swear i will never sprint my hip buckled twice and it was not a nice feeling p.e tachers know nothing about streaching or just let a few people lead who dont streach all that well i hate p.e in school but i love ju-jutsu so you cant say its because im lazy

Doesn't sound like it's because you're lazy. I get worn out sparring in Taekwondo, but that's because I have bad asthma. It happens. It's not worth our time to care too much if the people around us assume we're just lazy.

i've just started karate, and i did some taekwondo (sp?) a while ago too. though i lost motivation for taekwondo a while, i dont know why i did ._.;

well, either way im enjoying myself again at karate, even if im clumsy with the katas ^^;

yeah, it's fun. apparently we do a little practice in sumos and swords, but i have yet to do them ^^; cant wait really~
