How fast can you run a mile?

my fastest time is 7 min. 47 sec, but thats because i'm a sprinter, not long distance.

I'm a rebel. I don't "run" the mile, I stick my nose in the air and walk it.



In other words, I'm soo sloooow. I hate running. Plus, I have asthma. Not using that as an excuse because I rarely even use an inhaler. I just hate running the mile.
Plain and simple.

I run it in 7:50. I'm fast, but only as a sprinter, I can do my 100 yards and then I'm out of gas because I'm fat and in horrible shape. Joining basketball this year should help with that though.
