And its most likely for a girl to get injured than a boy. The other sports you girls can really go at but football nah. ur probbably fat no effence no 1 can tackle me and im not fat i play soccer, hockey, basketball, football, and lacross all teams ok so shut up girl who cant do anything! u seem like a wannabe. i mean u must be a benchwarmer for all those sports |

I think its all perspective.
Lemme expand on that: If you're a female participant of the said sport (for example...soccer.), its a lot easier for you to name players whereas if you're someone that isn't really into sports hardcore (meaning you were never on a varsity team, never played a single sport consecutively for more than a year, etc so on and so forth.) Its just the same if you ask like a computer tech guy to name 3 football players. It may be possible, but if he's just not that interested in it and doesn't spend his entire winter looking forward to College Football and Monday Night Football, then its most likely he'll just be like: Uhmm..?? Get my drift? I'm a girl that plays football (and has a mean spiral not to mention and can run some wicked plays), soccer (I'm a striker and outside mid-fielder), and does dance (ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, and some hip hop). I can name 3 football players, I CAN'T name 3 female soccer players (That's cuz I've only been playing soccer for 1 year on the JV team and know almost nothing about professional female soccer teams, but I CAN name 3 male soccer players because that's what I'm more interested about, see my point?), and I CAN name 3 ballerinas. See my point? It depends on point of interest. You can't be knowledgable about something you're not interested in. Wow, this was much longer than I had intended...but I hope this shed some light on the..situation? |

Girls are good in sports. Hell I know plenty that do mixed martial arts. Two of my losses on my record were to girls. They are hardcore.

Wendy n Stan 4ever 4 generations it has been quite ovius that this is "a mans world" wether we like it or not. There r women's teams and sports but female athletes r not recognized. I took a poll and discovered that 74% of Americans couldn't name 3 female athletes, 20% cud not name any female athletes while only 6% cud name at-least 3. This is appalling, in my 6 years of journalism ive never seen such unfair sexist treatment. 99% of Americans were able 2 name 5 male athletes! Yea, women have teams, yea they have games but r they recognized? some of you chicks are being bitches so cut the s**t and listen to what im saying. i never said i thought girls shouldnt play sports, the point of this damn post was to show how society seems to pushes boys close to sports and girls away. I am a girl and i lvoe sports so before you act like crazy skanks maybe you should listen!!! -_- u cant just say a girl and sports dont mix you dont no alot of ppl who do like or LOVE sports and are girls for instance me..i love soccer, touch football and track and field events so you shouldnt make a forum or whateva this is just cause u probably dont like sports |

Okay the athleteic event that I do is really out there but I'm a thrower in track and field. Basically what I do is take an 4 kilogram ball and throw it twenty feet(with the proper form) and throw a 1 kilometer disc fifty feet. I'm admittedly one of the worst girl throwers on my team but it's only my freshman year so hopefully I'll improve.
The point of this paragraph? It's BETTER for girls when the play an odd sport or athletic event because there is a much smaller pool for colleges to pick from therefore the odds of me getting a scholorship as opposed to the guy throwers is a lot higher because there are less girls willing to NOT look hot. The "hot" girls that don't play sports usually are to insecure to take off they're make-up and get sweaty. |

Male muscles In generalare stronger than female we are just built like it. and dont get me wrong i hate when people say guys are stronger than me cuz i am a girl (most of the time i am stronger than them) but it is a fact that in generalguys are stronger than girls. They also smell worse with less common sense... 3nodding jk |

Why? Because girl's sports have so many limitations to them, it's not interesting to watch. Plus, guy sports have been around longer, so people will watch them over them. Yes, girls can play sports. That's cool. But don't expect them to to do awesome in entertainment area. |
