Right but does anyone here really think that Couture's stand up is better than Fedor. Sure it has holes in it but, thats because Andre has top notch boxing and speed. Randy doesnt have the speed of Andre and I dont think he would be able to slam Fedor like Randleman did. Lets be real here Fedor has some of the best sambo and judo out there. Fedor can work from bad positions and tap just about anyone out. I dont see Randy doing any better than anyone else who has fought Fedor. This isnt because I dislike Randy its because Fedor is on top of his division right now and no one in the near future can take him out. Though I can see Brock because it always seems that guys with speed have faired much better than people who just try and use brute strenght. Plus Lesnar is proably in the best physical condition in the HW division but, Fedor would still proably tap Lesnar out.
Good points ... Fedor will have the advantage on the ground ... though I might say it is a slight advantage ... as for striking ... I still can't help remember Randy's fight with Sylvia to remind me that his striking is good. So I put a tie in that category ... as for cardio, they both have very good cardio so tie there ... in anyway though this fight will be damn good ... I would be screaming profanities at my television ...
I would think that this fight would go to a split decision either way ... depend on who was in the top position more ...
Really. You seem kind of biased. Think your forgetting Fedor when he destroyed Tim also. Then you also forget the fact that Randy has been hit with hard shots and folded. You could hit Fedor with a truck and the guy would still be dangerous. Plus I dont think Randy throws as hard as Fedor does sure they are both in good shape but, your giving Randy to much. He is great at dirty boxing and has good boxing plus submission defense but, Fedor is no slouch in the clinch and he works very well off his back. I think he works better off his back than Randy does trying gnp him. I actually see a very dominanting preformance from Fedor.
Not that biased. I do remember the thrashing that Fedor gave to Sylvia, but time Sylvia has always had problems with guys that push the pace of a fight and throw their hands. I do agree with you that Fedor is tough (that slam from Randleman, that right hook by Fujita), but he is not invincible. He does has his flaws (prone to injury), we can all honestly agree on that. Same as Couture, he has flaws in his game (like the fact that he is smaller that most guys in the heavyweight division).
But if, God willing, this fight ever happens, I will, like I said before, screaming profanities at my Tv and be jumping up and down ... no doubt it would be a good fight ...
