My youngest sister was upset when YYH was canceled too. I didn't get into as much as she did though it was one of the first anime I watched. I was more into Inuyasha at that time.

Wow... lol I was never that way except when Disney canceled So Weird. >.> That was my favorite show when I was little. I would be incredibly upset if they canceled Venture Brothers again. I was upset when I heard Futurama was no longer going to be on TV. There are a bunch of shows I miss.

4Kids has and continues to own all rights to the original YuGiOh.
They're playing the original series again now too, on 4Kids every Saturday.

I would shoot up every building holding any connection to Disney if they didn't give me my ******** Shippuden. That's the only good part of the entire Naruto series.
What do you mean by 'original' naruto? Shippuden is the just the series continued after a time skip, it's the same series.

I was never partial to Cartoon Network, but it ******** itself the moment they got rid of Johnny Bravo. He was the s**t.
Also, Toonami had some decent stuff, too. Mostly Tenchi Muyo, though. Tenchi kicks a**.
Can't say I miss Naruto, though. I despised that show. The only thing I can associate positively with Naruto is the food I was eating while I started watching it. Sour gumballs. ******** yes.

And they had Amy Lee from a goth band called "Evanescence" come onto that Friday night show as a guest and sing a song about cartoons in a happy voice?
I ******** laughed really hard when I watched that.
But there where some decent Cartoons Then, though.

I watch Cartoon Network solely for Teen Titans, everything else can go to hell.

I consider AS a completely different thing, but it's also beginning to lose some of its "glory".

Cancel the reality shows, start a new programming block featuring serious cartoons with actual plot/any real plot at all (Justice League, remember it?), add in some cartoons with more slapstick comedy, less grotesque s**t, more of the classics (Looney Toons, the Flinstones, etc...kids eat the cereal and don't know anything about the cartoon) and we can talk.

Until then, "CN" will continue riding its slowboat down the shithole, right with Disney.

but im more into grim adventures ..But lately they haven't been show that either or its re-runs.

I used to watch Cartoon Network all the time, but then they started putting those bland life-action shows on.
Why would I want to watch pre-pubescent kids answering questions on a rollercoaster?

They just don't make cartoons the way they used to.
I don't know what the hell happened. You'd think they'd improve!

Late 80's and 90's cartoons were great and when they still did everything by hand and cels and you could still find hidden sexual innuendo. Watching shows like Beetlejuice, Ninja Turtles and Ghostbusters had some stuff hidden in there I didn't notice as a kid... and even as a kid I could sense some of the jokes but not all. Looney Toons was full of adult jokes that kids don't get til way later and then it's so cool to find out as an adult.Sailor Moon was raped to hell with Americanization but still managed to be a great show.

Toons today are vacuous and lazy. They lack the charm. The only good cartoons out there are now obviously made for adults and kids can't watch them, like Family Guy or Robot Chicken.

Looking at the lineup on Saturday mornings is depressing! Everything sucks!! Poor kids have nothing worthwhile to watch any more. I used to get up at 7:30 or 8 am am to watch the best stuff from then til 10:30am, ending with The Real Ghostbusters.

I want my Saturday Mornings back.
