Whats a good show to watch?

If you liked Dexter, check out Low Winter Sun from AMC! A lot of people hated it in comparison to the BBC original(which I haven't seen), but I liked it a lot for similar reasons I liked Dexter: intrigue, mind games, and morality that's not just black and white. The characters are all tragically flawed though.
It's just a one season miniseries, but you'll know by the 1st or 2nd episode if you like it.

It depends, if you like Sci-Fi with guns, aliens, traveling to different worlds that have influences from different forms of mythology check out Stargate Sg1 and Stargate Atlantis. They have several movies, one you should watch before the series and a few in between. Stargate Sg1 is 10 seasons long, are just about dirt cheap now (compared to $40 when I bought each of them) and Stargate Atlantis is 5 seasons long and about the same price. If you are lucky you might be able to find them at a library.
