NightChild223
i will never say i hated it. however, being the cynic that i am... i found the movie to be cute, if a little disturbing. how many other people did not find that the population of the earth living in a spaceship, with their muscles to weak to do anything besides scoot around in "space wheelchairs" and eat vaguely disturbing? especially with the country being at 65% obesity rate today. add in the fact that, in the movie, humans apparently have to live in space because we have sufficiently trashed our own planet to the degree that we cannot live on it any more, and the movie, for me, took an another dimension.
again..i don't hate wall-e. its cute, but underneath the cuteness lies a slightly disturbing view of the human race and our future...and the sad thing is, we may very well end up that way.

I know what you mean, the cuteness overpowered me and i was crying by the end of it, it is AWESOME!!!!
As an English Student in High School i must say i agree with you, and the 'disturbing' thing is that it can be used as a warning.
ALTHOUGH!!!!!
The director of the film has clearly DECLARED, that Wall.E isn't a message movie, that was the last thing he had on his mind, if you want you'll have too YouTube it, i forgot where it was. It's a movie about love, but instead of human love, the fact that it's the robots we watch fall in love, shows how much humans will fail to love in the future huh? Well, that's what i gathered after studying Blade Runner and Brave New World.

I can't tell my friends that I love WALL-E! It's super duper. I heard my friends talk about it and how childish and s**t they thought it was... They asked me my opinion on it, so I had to lie and say I hated it too!
crying
Your friends have no souls. Wall-E is the greatest film this year. You shouldn't pretend not to like it just because they don't, if they're really your friends they won't mind that you like it.
I agree with Gai Ketoji there. And it's a bummer when your friends don't love the same movie you do, i understand, but it's more about the books for us. xD Well, we can declare our love here!!!! WHOOT!!! ^_^

That's part of the reason why I love it. The message could be true. We could wind up like that; too big to do anything but sit and eat, and eat, and eat.
Which is why, following watching that movie, I stopped drinking pop. I've been drinking water, milk, tea, and the occasional Pepsi. Which is difficult.

PRECISELY!!! It makes you value what you have now more. It's sad, but it's the truth. And i reckon they managed to make it not seem TOO much, which overrides the lovely love with Wall. E and Eve. Awwwww...>< 4laugh i'm in love.
