who here is a fan of the movies? who here wishes for a third?
hell knows i do. rofl

what got me interested in wanting a third was the 2nd movie: the Golden army.
that was Ron Perlman's best performance as Hellboy, where he fights the elf prince Nuada.
cunning, fast paced sword fights to the end. hellboy 1 just had him fighting some hell hound of resurrection and it sucked. golden army was good.

They aren't my favorite movies, but I definitely love how different they are.

After he left The Hobbit he tried to get "At the Mountains of Madness" off the ground, though it ended up getting canned. I won't go into detail on that little crime against cinema, as I've already done so in another thread. Now he's doing "Pacific Rim" which is essentially a giant monster movie akin to Godzilla, but without Godzilla, with a ton of monsters, giant mech suit things, and another dimension from which the monsters are coming.

Rumors abound that Legendary Pictures (the people behind both "Pacific Rim" and the new Godzilla movie) want him to combine "Pacific Rim" and the Godzilla movie they're directing and having him direct, but they're all bullshit.

Prequal to Lord of the Rings.

As far as Hellboy, I don't know, the first one was good, but I didn't really like the Golden Army. So, if it did happen, I doubt I would watch it.

except the part with the army not doing much except being destroyed and then pulling themselves together...

to me, i liked the challenge scene, where hellboy challenges him to a duel for right to command.

now i say, those who are fans of the movies help me write a fanfiction of what we think the third one should be about.

Pacific Rim sounds like it could have promise.
I don't know how I feel about a new Godzilla movie.
I just wish he'd do something.
