love trust me... he is nnot good for the role at all
watch along came polly or along came a spider with morgan freeman in it,you'll see that there is a certain way that the movie should go and tyler perry ( who definately is not that good of an cactor) cannot act the way that is needed. if you haven't read the books then you won't understand what i mean

I'm for it. Tyler perry is a good actor. I don't care for the books but the movie sounds good so I might see it when it comes out on dvd.

Nope I probably won't get what you mean. But I have seen movies where tyler perry is serious and he may be able to pull it off. It'll be nice to see him in a movie not of his own.

Why are you typecasting the guy so hard? There's has been many actors over the year who have crossover into other areas and done well. Why not just see the movie and give it a fair shot.

He's only ever been in his own movies as you said that haven't been serious but as I said just because he hasn't doesn't mean he will bomb. People say that about comic actors all the time and are usually proven wrong. I say give the guy a fair chance.

Saw a little more of it from some other trailers. I'm still skeptical, but he does have a pretty good look for Cross, so I'll give him a turn at bat fairly.

Also, it's covering the murder of Alex's wife, which I'm interested in (and didn't get around to reading "Cross" to find out about).

Though I will be a bit perturbed if they couldn't get Tiny Lister as John Sampson.

Well the reviews have been mixed but mostly because of the direction and camera work. I'll probably wait till its on cable or something as they will probably show all three movies.
