The Vampire Diaries!!

So I read, or tried to read the books but they just didn't engage me. I found them extremely boring and at times... an over all poor read.

The television series though, wow, hit me like a transport truck! I fell in love almost instantly with all of the characters!

Are there any other fans out there like me? 3nodding


I do have a pet peeve though. I used to really like Damon- he was my favourite character but now since his love for Elana has given him a lot more character growth... I am not so much of a Damon fan anymore. Sure he is still sarcastic and a little bitter but the lovey dovey just does not suit him. In fact I am leaning towards Klaus being my new favourite.

I did see yesterdays episode and I am so ecstatic that Elijah is back! He's not much of a baddie but he's definitely one of my favorites. Klaus too, though I'm still a bit iffy. Sometimes he's too whiny.

I feel he has a heart. He's lonely and he's sorry for what he does, and he hides it all. There are a lot of people in the show that hate him.

i spend three days marathoning the vampire diaries on netflix, and i'm seriously amazed that i would get so hooked on anything vampire-related.
