First, I'd tell my mom and/or dad about the new and murderous guy. If that didn't work, my neighbors next door. Then my parents' siblings and friends.

Thankfully I don't have this problem in my life now. My parents are happily married. Plus neither one is foolish enough to marry someone without checking out their partner's history and background first. They are certainly not afraid about calling the cops on dangerous people like this guy in the movie.
