Have to go with the asylum, too many horror movies/games/novels involve them and I'd be trying to think of them all while I was stuck there.

An abandoned asylum is scarier cause you'll imagine who slept on the beds on the asylum, WHO were in the toilets and stuff like that. My imagination is vivid, so I'll probably think of screams and shouts casting across the asylum. -gulp-

On another note, I am a little disappointed that Silent House is nothing more than another rip-off remake of a movie from last year that obviously doesn't require a remake anyway. I am getting the Quarantine feeling all over my body right now.

in general, as long as it's just a little bit away from civilazation your ok, abandoned places far far away tend to be death traps.

and not to mention the fact that we are allready used to most generic places.

most likely, for the best fear (if done right) we need a taffy/evil candy factory movie or whatever.

I think, depending on the circumstances/context, that any of those places could be scary.
