I would be lying if I said I didn't miss the scary episodes cause I do but I still love the show and I'm somewhat happy with the episodes the only thing is it seems to me that they're rushed. Does anyone else feel like that?

The last episode I seen was the Season Six finale which had some godawful episodes.

The worst being the killer mannequinns. I think I am finished with the show. For some reason after Season Five, I don't enjoy the show.

I heard that SPN was always meant to only have five seasons. It was an interview with Jared, I think, where he said that while filming the first season he couldn't even begin to imagine how to create a second season, and knew that Kripke had planned five, and that fact blew his mind. Something along those lines.

Old news is old. Yes, Kripke's original plan for SPN was a 5 season run. But the show got renewed, so they had to get a new lead. Hence, Sera.

At any rate: I thought the episode was pretty silly. Poor Sam. I feel bad for his sad. But he was sexy when he was playing bad cop. -purr- But also, omfg, I totally called it with the shark in the ball pit! Also, it was SO AWESOME to see Dean laughing his a** off. I was so happy for him. It felt nice, even if they boys were separate for most of the episode. Ah well. Mmm, Marksha in the next episode - aaand of course, I might not be able to see it -- since I might be going home next weekend and my mom doesn't have CW on her TV. :< And with no computer, I can't even watch it online. -sad face-

Actually, I do too. I mean, sure it kind of became a deux ex machina when Sam could just exorcise demons with his mind, but at the same time -- it was an interesting idea and I kind of wish he could still do that, Hand of Ipecac aside. -laugh-

It's the reason they de-angel'd Cas in season five, to keep him from becoming a deus ex machina. Can't have an angel solving all of Dean and Sam's woes, now can we? xp

Which is why we are now going to have Amnesia!Cas. I do hope we cross that threshold where he lives as a human until they find a way to recover his memories/find his grace.

I think I know why.

Kripke had planned out the show from start to finish. So everything was connected and had a meaning from day one. I don't think Sera is as planned out. There doesn't seem to have the huge tie ins we got from Kripke's run. I mean - it wasn't until you found out that The Trickster was Gabriel that you could tie in the 'Tuesday' connection (Gabriel is the angel of Tuesday for those who are unaware) And that's a 2 season gap that's being put together. This run just seems more day by day and building up to what we've put together.

I think Cas is coming back next episode, it looked like him in the promo!

Who knows when Crowley will come back. I kind of miss him. And when I saw the date of the next episode all I kept thinking was, "CLIFF HANGER!!!!"

Hey hey hey! 48 hour moratorium on spoilers, missy! We white out anything episode related, ya'hear? Now please, change your post so no one can see that last line. Everything else is kosher.

Anyway...

Except for the Lucifer stuff (OMG his bifurcated tongue...), I didn't really like this episode. I don't know what it was about it, but it just didn't. I dunno, jive. There were great lines... Wonderful plot seeds for the future and some funny moments, but. I can't even put my finger on it. *shrugs*

But Marksha was amazing -and adorable!- as Lucy and I'm now worried for Sam. More worried than I've ever been about his character, really, since he's like, my third favorite character, behind Dean and Bobby. In three weeks, we'll find out what the hell is going on inside his noodle.

Oh, and there was something about Cas but I can't be bothered to care, honestly.

Aside from ALL MY FEELINGS... this episode has been ONE OF THE BEST of the season aside from the first two.
