hey! who likes the movie 'The Grudge'? i think it's one of the best thriller movies that was ever created. i've watched hundreds of thrillers and the grudgfe is one of my favorites because it has a lot of twistes and has a good story, too. and it's not all about gorey crap. it doesn't overdo the blood and morbid scenes. it has that freaky feel to it instead of the gorey feel to it. not that i dont like the gore, it's just that it's getting old in a lot of the thrillers. anyway, thats why i like it.
92% of teens would be dead if Abercrombie and Fitch said it wasn't cool to breathe. put this in your sig if your part of the 8% who would be laughing their a** off!
i will be honest and say while i was watching the second one, i got lost for a bit... the story is constantly going through time, i just couldn't keep up at some points. but overall, a good movie....once i got in my room and sorted it all out... haha i'm just slow...don't judge me!! ahaha
I'm sad to say I was disappointed with the American version of the Grudge series in terms of scaryness. But nonetheless, I liked it because it creeped me out. I've yet to see the Japanese versions (Ju-On), but I dare not because Asian movies have a reputation to be far more scarier than Western Horror Movies in more ways than one.
I've seen the original Japanese Ring movie and after watching it the first time with lights on in broad daylight and with some friends, I could not sleep well for over a week because the character of that movie, Sadako, haunted me for a very long time.
I hear a third Ju-On movie is in the works, but production for Grudge 3 is halted due to problems as to how the story can be progressed with the protagonists from both movies already killed off.

i really don't like either because it's not scary or anything. It's more confusing that anything I ever watched. I had to ask questions non-stop to my sister about it. *sighs* But really I liked the second one better.
