The concept of vampires is a very intriguing and interesting idea.
"Becoming one" would be tempting to me because I'm afraid of growing old and they've got that whole "everlasting youth" thing going for them.
Though at the same time I don't know if I'd want to live forever.
If a vampire could die a peaceful death and still had a soul, then I might be up for it. ;p

However, I find people obsessed with specific vampire series, or those who are too over-the-top about vampires to be completely annoying.
Yes, they're interesting, but is it really anything to get this obsessed about?
