Relapsed Memories
... Does any one else feel like their is too much demonic influence in this movie? I mean spiritually not physically? Kind of like they just let a demon in the doo?

The movie freaked you out so you blame it on a demon...brilliant *eyeroll* You can get scared without someone/something making you scared. It's called being human and having an innate sense of vulnerability, which might have something to do with you being mortal.

leave it to scientology to destroy respect for the spiritual realms....

actually for me it was religion and mostly fundie Christians. You can't blame Tom Cruise for me, but you could blame hippies and such. =)

I envie you, I wish I didn't see things. And I don't think it was hippie more something else... hippies were more into the inner self and eutopia type stuff
I saw a ghost in my friends house once. It was very creepy.
heart heart heart
OH wait! I just Remembered an Experience I have had!
okay, so I was visiting my cousin in Spanish Fork
and it was very close to halloween and some of her friends came over and we were all chatting and we decided we wanted to scare ourselves silly so they brought up the haunted house.
Well needless to say I was all up for it and they told me the story about what had supposedly happend there:
Well this man lived there with his wife and two kids and he just one day went insane and killed his wife and chained his kids up in the basement where he tourtured and killed them and then he possibly had more victims I can't really remember but they said that he used to keep all his tourture weapons in the shed outside the house.
They also went on to tell me what has happened when they have gone there previously, like cars stalling and shaking violently and seeing glowing things and moving shadows (keep in mind this house is practically in the middle of nowhere)

Any way so we get there and the place is all fenced off and the door is blocked with hay bells and the windows. so we ended up crawling through this hole which was scary cause of bugs and stuff. We walk through the whole house there is writting on the walls every where that looks like really old dried up blood. and there were even things hanging off the wall in the basement (I didn't go for a closer look) and we went up stairs and we thought we saw some lights in the field so we were scared it was cops so we started to head down the stairs and it got way dark and I couldn't see so I stopped(I was in the lead) and suddely something ran past the top of the stairs and it was loud and my cousin screamed(she was in the back she said she just caught a glimps of something behind her when it ran.
and we nearly all fell down the stairs and we got out of there asap
so then when we got back to her house and went to go to bed we turned off the lights and we started hearing something like running around and the sound from where it was coming from it would have had to be running through the wall and back out. It was so scary (and we were the only ones there that night)
So needless to say we slept with the lights on and neither one of us slept much or very well.
it was really fun though. and I honestly can't decide if it was just us being paranoid and being scared or what. :]
Lol. Maybe I'll see the movie just for fun... This seems like a recap of the episodes of A Haunting that went over all of this. O_o
CT is a rather creepy place to grow up though. o_o;

And to answer your question, yes. Yes I do believe.
Well..Yes of course I do..
What should I belive in if supernatural things don't exist?
What can explaine the wierd things that happend in my house for a couple of years ago? It doesnt have a natural explanation..It must be the spirits world.. question

Also in most non-American cultures the dead are most for the most part revered and celebrated, being able to commune with spirits at all isn't something you just do because you can, but to obtain foresight about important matters.

I mean think about it if any of you were sleeping and I woke you up at 4AM in the morning with a bunch of my goofy friends for no other reason, but to see if you'd wake up you'd be pissed too.

In some cultures, yes, but not all. And yes, if you did wake me up, I'd be upset, but that's not what I'm actually talking about. I'm talking about the ones that are actually evil. The entities that actually have that ultimate power to hurt you. Spirits move things and "say" things in order to try to get one's attention. But only that. Those evil entities aren't just trying to get your attention. They're not liking the fact that you are there.

I don't believe in the concept of absolute evil, It's too easy to just brand some happening that no one living can explain as evil, but once again maybe it's just someone who doesn't like you in their space?
I mean who likes unwanted guests of any kind? You have insects in your home you spray for them, you have squatters you have the police remove them, you have humans in a home you still call yours?
You haunt them till they leave your space, because living or dead somethings will always belong to a person.
I don't think that makes them evil.
omg i believe in the supernatural in fact i think my home is haunted one day i was sleeping and had a ac unit in my room ghost came in turned it off stood by my clothes. i was scared.
yes i was walkin down my hallway goin to the bathroom and i felt wierd cant explain it and it felt like someone touched my back like i could feel a hand seriously but nothing was there i was so scared

I really like what you both have to say... Sometimes though one has to wonder if it isnt the PERSON that is freaky not the place... mental problems are about half of all the "hauntings" I have looked into.

That is a very good point you have there. Very very good point. My girlfriend always used to say "I sound so crazy" I love it, because crazy people don't know they're crazy, usually do they? There's also one in Exorcism of Emily Rose. She said she thought she was crazy and they brought up that point "Crazy people don't know that they're crazy".
I never saw a ghost in person but I think they're there...
