I think we as humans should spend more time trying to contact the dead or at least there should be more work openly about contacting the supernatural forces.

Actually, not particularly. Only because there are some things out there that aren't there to do good. And they have a lot of power, I guess you could say. And you don't know what they can do with that. It's really dangerous. Those spirits are there because they can't move on, usually. We shouldn't really be encouraging it to be more active.

Well the most supernatural thing happen to me is this.
Back when I was 13, my family was moving out of this house and were planning on moving to a new state. Anyways one night when everyone was upstairs packing, I was taking something down to the garage. I was the only one down there. I don't remember why, but I suddenly turned around for some reason (don't remember if I heard something or what, but for some reason, I did turn around from where I was walking). There stood something that looked like a little girl, she looked extremely pale from what I saw and was just plain white. I saw it for a second or two and ran out one of the doors, towards the stairs. At the corner of my eyes, I saw it running the opposite direction towards the back door.
About five minutes later, I got my step brother to come down with me. The white girl wasn't there, but the back door she ran to was open wide. Which was another weird thing because the back door was always jammed and was difficult to open with just one person.

Creeped me the hell out whenever I stayed the night at that house from than on. The house was always weird though, you could sometimes hear things on the front porch at night if you were close by the window. Noises came from the kitchen when you know everyone was in bed (although we thought it could of been our cat) and once in a very great while, things would just fall over (such as a lamp, although this was also blamed on the cat).

I do believe in the supernatural, but most of what you hear is a bunch of lies.

Only one story o-o Wow. . .I have a whole bunch I don't think I could use just one. I do believe in the supernatural though, because I've lived in haunted houses practically my whole life. I see ghosts and talk to the supernatural. The supernatural has become a fascination of mine.
When I was a baby my parents moved into an old apartment, almost right away strange things started happening. Simple stuff at first lights turning on radio playing in the middle of the night just stuff like that. But as days turned to weeks, more stuff started happening. The stove would turn on food would go missing and the gas in the house would leak threatening to make the whole house explode. In the kitchen there was a boarded up wall. Where we always felt someone watching us. My parents later asked some neighbors what had happened in the apartment.
A man was at a poker game and they had a few drinks and the guys all started cheating and when one of the won the game. The rest got angry and accused him of cheating. A man pulled a gun and shot a man in the head.
My parents lasted a month in the house until they absolutely had to move out

I mean you also have to consider the very low low rate of malicious spirit cases you actually here about.
People shouldn't be so fearful of these things, it's been done for centuries safely, also I don't see why people aren't more interested in conversing with the dead.

Yes, I completely believe in supernatural events.

I've actually had several in my life time, the most recent being me seeing the ghost of my Husband's grandfather. It was rather creepy because before this had occurred I never knew what he looked like, I only knew that he had passed on.

Then one night I encountered a shadowy figure in the living room and after having a bit of a freak out I described what I saw and was told who I described sounded exactly like his grandfather eek

A couple months later I was going through Photo Albums with his family when I came across a picture of the man I saw, I pointed it out and was once again told it was his grandfather

Very creepy!

There's a similar story in my family. My uncle's wife saw his dead mom. She had died when my uncle was just a kid, so his wife had never met her, and my uncle had no photos of her. She came to my aunt in a dream, to warn them about something, and same kind of thing like you said: she described the person in her dream, and it sounded exactly like his mom, and when she did finally see a photo, sure enough, that was her.

They say that seeing spirits and otherworldly projections is an ability of many artistic, sensitive or psychic people. And really, being involved, personally, with these supernatural encounters can make us feel a little uneasy.

But as both Leena-nee and Stella show us, sometimes our own relatives who have passed over, can actually try to communicate with us, to be close to us.

I have had dreams where past relatives have left me messages, and I still see ghost-projections of my wonderful pet cat, who passed away last October, 2008, now and then. *smiles sadly* heart

In my house we have objects that fling across the room, I lost five glass cups that shattered because of that. And sometime's when I am alone in my house I will sit on the computer or play my Ps3 large shadows go behind me.

It is scary, which is why I enjoyed it. And yes, there could of been a good chance it was a entity. It's good to look into a movie. ;p

I never watched it before yesterday because I thought it was scary. But, it wasn't so bad. It's weird because I'm such a wuss when it comes to scary movies. But so far, I've laughed at The Grudge, The Ring, and I've watched this one with all seriousness.
