Jedi Master Revan
Me personally yes, so far the comics are great, the cinematics are great, and even the game itself is great, so why not make a movie about it?
Whats your opinion on this?
I will soon grab the comics, but the books are pretty good. I can easily imagine the comics being as good. First, let me say Old Republic was my very first MMO experience, and it kicks major a** in my opinion. I'm very glad I went out and grabbed it, and I'm quite pleased over all with the experience.
Secondly, I highly doubt it would ever become a movie. I still can't bring myself to understand it, but to a seemingly increasing majority of Star Wars fans the first three movies are all that matter. Everything else, ESPECIALLY the prequel movies is evidently a part of the most awful creations of human history.
I really don't understand that vehement hate, but it did make George Lucas do a lot of bitching about how he's not appreciated and whatever else. Also, there are way too many story lines to tell what they would possibly go with, but most likely if you kept Lucas away from the actual production of the movie they could be successful.
Also, to address the "Revan story line" idea above me... There is nothing to go on, unless of course you're referring to the book "Revan", in which case I suppose that would be a decent movie. But, assuming this was referring to the game itself Revan's role is extremely minor. He's a part of a Flashpoint that suggests he broke free of the Emperors hold, and when you're about to strike him down he very simply disappears.
It's up to debate whether he became one with the Force, or used a technique known as "Fold Space." Which, in summary, simply allows the Force user to open a sort of wyrm hole and travel through it. At least, that was my understanding.
