Which wasn't great and then broke my heart because he "loved" some other girl. In the long run I know it wasn't love, later on, much much later. I found that out for myself. My first love was a wonderful yet incredible painful experience. She was a very close friend of mine (maybe a best friend?). I didn't realize I was falling in love until I discovered I was imagining a future with her and feeling jealous about the boys she always told me she liked. On top of that, the fact that I was having these types of feelings for another girl really freaked me out!

That was years ago though, and she just got married recently. She still has no idea how I feel, and she probably never will. Overall though, I'm glad for the experience. Being in love just feels so good, even though it hurt a heck of a lot.
