Gonna start re-reading the books tonight!!!!!!

I've already started to re-read A Clash of Kings, I'm about a quarter of the way though the book.

I'm jobless as of rn so I can prolly fit them all in before April. I read all of the Chronicles of Narnia today. The other day I read all three of the Girl with The Dragon Tattoo books in about 2 days.

Yeah, but they're so dense. Even on a re-read, "A Feast For Crows" is taking me a week.

I've already started to re-read A Clash of Kings, I'm about a quarter of the way though the book.

I'm jobless as of rn so I can prolly fit them all in before April. I read all of the Chronicles of Narnia today. The other day I read all three of the Girl with The Dragon Tattoo books in about 2 days.

Maybe you ought to be reading the help wanted page. No I'm only joking lol. Why don't you also add in all seven Harry Potter books as well?

I've started re-reading Clash as well and it's really slow going for me so far :C.

It's still one of my least favourites (I'd say Dance is the only one I like less than Clash), despite it having some great POV characters.

It's just really weird. It has Sansa, Theon (although I wanted to throttle him in his first chapter), Dany actually being the best she's been over the 5 books (imo), Davos, and the Blackwater chapters, but I feel like I'm forcing the book down my throat in places. gonk


I'm really glad I started so early with the re-read.

Although Clash of Kings set a lot of things up and was just alot of detail about what happening, I can't for it to start but I'm super excited about Storm of Swords because that's when everything goes it s**t and it ******** awesome. heart biggrin

It goes to s**t in a very large hand basket. I nearly flipped a table over in rage after reading a particular section that most book readers who have gotten that far know about. It's going to suck even more to see it happen on the show.

I do know that the show writers hope if anything they can get to RW (even breaking up SOS into two season's to fit everything in) and if they don't get more than that they will be okay with HBO's decision. But given that there is SOOO much attention for GOT's that it's broken the record for all time views just for the Shadow's trailer alone I think HBO know it has a winner and will give it plenty of season's to come.

@Nerevar: Yeah, I remember an interview with D&D where they said they are shooting for at least getting enough seasons to do the Red Wedding, and they will then see where to go from there. I think the plan is that the Red Wedding will shake the very foundations of TV as everyone knows it, and all the television networks close up their individual shows and pool all their money into Game of Thrones.


Besides, HBO still owes me for wrapping up The Wire. It's the one show I demand more of on a constant basis.


A wild Kit Harington interview from the SAG Awards has appeared! (WiC.net link, because I'm lazy and should be studying. Also a really lame Pokemon joke without even realizing I was making one.) By the sounds of it (and what we already know) the penultimate episode is going to be the most insane again. Also the best.

He also spoils that there may be more combat and fighting this season o/. My kind of show. They should just scrap all the sex scenes and use that money on cool fights.
This won't happen as me and my friends are guessing that we will at least have 5 scenes where Natalie Dormer shows her boobs. I mean, we already saw some side boob from her in the trailer, although I did enjoy the fact that Renly isn't even looking at her and has an expression of what almost looks like disgust as she drops her top.

Right, now that I've finished ADWD and read the excerpt from TWOW I can now post here without fear of spoilers! I still need to watch the rest of the TV show though.

Question [ADWD spoilers]: I'm pretty sure that if Jon dies, he's going to warg into Ghost, but do you think he will be able to switch between Ghost and the raven? I read a theory on the WMG page of TV tropes that someone else is already 'occupying' the raven - that's why it's so intelligent and says certain words at an appropriate time. Sorry if this has been discussed already, I can't be bothered to read the rest of the thread.

As for Mormont's Raven I never thought that it could be "occupied" I just thought the bird was very smart for a raven, given that it had been trained so well. That's an interesting theory...I wonder who could be in the little sucker? Maybe Benjin, but the raven had already been pretty dang smart before Benjin disappeared in the wild North.
