In one week, the TV adaption of George R.R. Martin's epic novels,
A Song of Ice and Fire, will premiere on HBO. It will star Sean Bean (
Lord of the Rings,
National Treasure), Mark Addy (
A Knight's Tale,
The Full Monty), Peter Dinklage (
Death at a Funeral,
Threshold) and Jason Momoa (
Stargate: Atlantis,
Conan the Barbarian), along with an amazing crop of newcomers and we need a thread to discuss the upcoming awesomeness.
Here is a preview of the series premiere, the first 14 minutes of the episode and it looks pretty damn faithful to the book. And what isn't straight from the pages is still effin' good. Especially that chick in the woods!

So discuss! Are you waiting on the edge of your seat for Sunday night? Or, if you don't have the Box, are you waiting for Monday morning when it's available to download or stream? What methods will you use to watch the show and what do you think of the adaption, positive or negative? What do you think of the cast and how they aged the children a few years to accommodate more believable actors?
