Personally...no.
In fact, I stopped watching shortly before Thirteen left. The thing is, the show lost the spark of the original team with these ridiculous new interns--the only one of whom I liked was Thirteen herself. The season five finale was the best episode of House ever made, and in my opinion, the show should have ended with a Huddy together at the end of season six. It would have been perfect, especially after House hit (what we thought was) rock bottom with the psychiatric facility.
Now, viewers are being subjected to storylines and characters we don’t care about. Wilson had FINALLY come out of his shell with Amber’s tragic death, and now we’re supposed to believe that he gets back together with his FIRST WIFE?! Give me a break.
The thing I love about shows like Queer as Folk, is that they knew when to end the show, and they did it on a high note. Now, every fan of that show, including myself, can look back on it fondly, instead of with dread for its last few years like I’m sure people will be doing with House. I've actually already accepted that the show was probably going to falter without Lisa Edelstein, so, the cancelation is really not a surprise to me.
Yes, it's sad, but House had its run, and I think everyone knew that the show wouldn’t last long with Cuddy’s departure. In fact, I was even willing to give the show another try until I found out that Lisa Edelstein was leaving. Hopefully, now she and Jennifer Morrison will at least come back for the finale.
