Do you prefer True Blood or Vampire Diaries?

I like both for different reasons. I would say Vampire Diaries is my fav even though I havn't watched in a while. I'm still stuck somewhere in the middle of season 2. I watch True Blood even less becuase it gets really pollitical sometimes and that can be a real turn off.

I quite liked True Blood though, or at least I really liked the characters.
The thing that annoyed me with it is that it basically is summed down to
sexsexsexsexsex oh look conversation sexsexsexsexsexsex

I have nothing against sex in tv or movies, but when it's being pushed down my throat we have a problem. HBO seems to enjoy shoving as much sex as possible in their shows.

True blood.. I have no problems with the sex or anything. Its more realer than vampire diaries. Vampire diaries is a butt load of ishh and its like watching twilight. Dumb and pointless...

I LOVE Vampire Diaries smile Yes, it can be cheesy sometimes but I love the character development. I do like True Bloods also though, but I haven't watched it in a while, plus it really is all about sex, not that I have a big problem with it it's just so much is too much

I like them both. But I do have to say that I like Vampire Diaries a little more, especially because of The Originals.

I still need to watch Vampire Diaries, but as huge fan of True Blood I want to say it's not just about sex. If you read the books they're way more plot driven, HBO has just taken things to the extreme.
