Welcome to Gaia! ::

Anxious Prophet

There's this short film. I can't remember the title but it's about......zombies.

It's not about some stupid action survival s**t. It's about how the undead would really just haunt the world. It was so depressing it was awesome.

Dapper Prophet

Upperclass Hero
Someone PMed me yesterday telling me to watch Farm to Fridge...it was sad and depressing, made me reconsider eating meat...then I stopped giving a s**t again. I mean, it's sad, but meat is just way to tasty.

It makes me terribly guilty watching videos on the butchering process

I look at all these poor cute animals being shot, tortured, and ground up, and decide to be a vegetarian sad
Lol, but that lasts less than a day and I go back to my meat

I remember seeing that, my my does Thailand have poignant advertising. emotion_kirakira

It's in Thai though?

Oh gosh... here I am mixing these up again. emotion_facepalm I recall another one with a girl who played the Violin, t'was sad as well. That one was the one from Korea.

The pantene commercial!
With all these asian commercials,

1. I realized that they're way better than american commercials
2. and they're waaay longer. Lol, a 4min commercial, how radical.
I like it, it's more effective.

My goodness is that beautiful or what? emotion_kirakira It's like they are actually made with the heart and soul of artistry rather than a fistful of commercialism.

i dont really cry that much, i sometimes get that feeling like im going to start and my eyes get a little bit wet, followed by the whole whimpering lip but it never goes beyond that anymore. but anywase.... Tony Takitani was a rather depressing film from start to finish (******** Ryuichi Sakamoto is a talented composer, the film wouldnt have been nearly as powerful w/o his score "solitude" ), Ikiru was a film i thought i was going to hate and did drag on a great deal longer than it should have but it got my eyes to water, my sassy girl(the original one, not the shitty Hollywood remake), when things are concluding and everything is revealed about what happened to her previously. umm(assuming anime counts....) the final 3 episodes took alot out of me; i developed emotional attachments to all the characters so i didnt take it very well when they basically all died in a very short span of time.... The chinese Film Quitting wasnt a depressing film in itself but i was a fan of Jia Hongsheng for a pretty long time and i saw it around the time i found out he commited suicide so going into it i was already kinda down, Ran even though i already knew what was going to happen... still made me depressed, Atonement was sad but... again i already knew what was going to happen(was a worthy book to film adaptation), Mother was another film i thought i was going to ******** black and white and a silent film.... really?...) but it got some tears goin(i really love this film).

and finally for whatever reason this korean music video got me teary eyed even though the song in itself was atrocious(almost better off just muting it all the way through.... bu w/e)
The saddest movie I've ever watched would be Earthlings. And the really, really sad thing is that while it's more graphic than any horror movie I've ever seen, is it's all real, and happens all the time.

I can't link to the website on Gaia but basically it's just 'earthlings' then a dot, then 'com'. And you can watch it for free.

It's definitely a movie you have to watch. Also Farm To Fridge (also free to watch online if you google it. I can't link this one either, but it's also a must see.), or any of the undercover videos from factory farms.

I cry a little every time I watch The Elephant Man. sad

I go 'aww' sometimes but I rarely cry.

Yes, yes I do.

- What usually makes you break (emotionally)?
Thinking about anything bad happening to my lover, and the thought of being burned alive but surviving.

- Watching funny baby videos on youtube only to end up watching tearjerker videos
This will make you feel better.

I always cry when dogs die in movies.

And when I watch Pay it Forward.
I sat here staring at the screen for a good 10 minutes after watching this....
The Girl Next Door. The movie about the aunt that tortures a girl in her basement, NOT the one about the porn star.
It's horrifying and it's based on a true story.

I also cry every time I watch Tangled when Flynn Rider almost dies. sweatdrop
